6 “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”
You want your kids to read the bible, yet you’re not sure where to start them?
This is a great resource from Navigators to give them a good foundation of spending time in the Word each day. A chapter a day is very doable for most reading age kids. Even slow readers it might take them 15 minutes. Our advice is to start with Track 1 for all kids.
Parents it won’t hurt you either to read what your kids read- then make trivia questions for them to answer throughout the week. Or have a Jeopardy game night. This is one idea to help you follow the command to teach your children diligently. Parents must be intentional about teaching them, they won’t teach themselves.
